To keep your knives in the best condition, use the Shun Classic 9″ Combination Honing Steel. Made from stainless steel with a delightful D-shaped Pakkawood handle, this steel has two surfaces. One side is smooth for weekly honing and the other features a micro-ribbed side for monthly honing to help realign the edge of your blades. As each blade in this series features a 16° angle, this steel also features a 16° angle on the handle for easy honing.
